Client Payroll Calculator won’t launch- System Freezes

Solution

On workstations that are running Norton Version 10 and have the Tamper Prevention feature enabled, clicking on an icon in PAC will just freeze the system.  Disabling the Tamper Prevention feature in Norton may fix the problem. Tamper Prevention is a feature to keep spyware from shutting down the anti-virus program.
