I founded Vertex for two reasons: I felt that we could reduce the workload of rehab professionals like you, and simultaneously help improve your organization’s ability to capture every reimbursement dollar available.
Our mission is to deliver easy-to-use, affordable software that can enable you more time to focus on those you serve. Working with organizations like yours is the only thing we do.
Since 1981, our software has evolved from a client payroll system to a robust collection of tools build on our legacy of helping our customers through increasing reimbursement and reducing administrative workload.

Melissa joined Vertex Systems in 2011 with more than 25 years of software support operations experience. She has been in Support Operations for her entire career, managing various solutions in multiple vertical markets throughout the US and UK.
Melissa also gained significant knowledge of the Payment Card Industry (PCI) security regulations. She created policy documents for the business and worked through several successful security audits. Melissa also created policies for SSAE16 and completed successful audits.
Melissa is a respected builder and leader of productive customer-focused teams and has significant experience creating and managing support operations for software companies. Melissa’s team is responsible for implementation of Vertex software for new customers, delivering training, and providing technical support.

Randy joined the company in October of 2010 as an application business analyst and was promoted to Director in 2013. Randy’s team is responsible for the development, testing, and production of all Vertex software.
Randy’s diverse background in software development includes systems that are used by, some well known companies including: WalMart, Target, Walgreens, and CVS. Randy’s knowledge of electronic data interchange (EDI), warehouse management, financial management, inventory management, and hand-held devices are all core competencies that are highly leveraged in the development of Vertex products.
Jeremy joined Vertex in August 2012 with over 20 years of infrastructure and operations management expertise. As the Director of IT, Jeremy acquires and maintains all of our mission-critical information systems and resources.
Jeremy also built and manages Vertex’s cloud based infrastructure including – availability, security, compliance and performance as well as data center management. He also contributes to research and development of new solutions and technologies.
Prior to joining Vertex, Jeremy served as the VP of Information Systems / for QuanComm, Inc. In this role, Jeremy oversaw compliance for PCI – Level 1, SAS-70/ SSAE 16. This includes policy and process design as well as designing and building the technical infrastructure to support large scale Payment Processing, Enrollment, CRM and Membership Management Systems.
