“Unknown database I/O error-no such file or directory” error message

There are several possible causes for this error including, but not limited to:

  1. You no longer have permission to access this location on your network,
  2. The file location has changed, 
  3. The database has been removed

To determine the presumed location of the database:

1. From Windows Explorer, navigate to C: | Windows | SYSWOW (64) file | odbcad32.exe

2. Right-click the file and select Run as Administrator

3, Select tab System DSN

4. Select CONSUMER_ODBCFB | Configure

  • check the database file-path to see if it correctly setup on the correct server and drive
  • If not set the correct path in the field ad click on save/ ok
