“You must specify a Repayment Payroll Control Code…” error message

This most likely occurs when performing a void only on a payroll check. 

Solution

1. Navigate to Payroll | Setup | General tab
2. In the Repayment Payroll Control field, use the up arrow and choose the Repayment Control.
