Meet Requirements and Collect Service Documentation at the Same Time

Your agency has always had the need to view schedules, document services and collect service time. The 21st Century Cures Act adds another layer of complexity: You need to prove you delivered the service. With EVV Advocatesoftware, your agency meets the federal Electronic Visit Verification (EVV) requirements for Medicaid-funded home care and collects service documentation at the same time. Utilizing information from Vertex Case Manager, EVV Advocate’s expanded functionality enables it to record all services, helping simplify the work agencies do while having access to accurate information.

Seamless Integration With Vertex Case Management

The proprietary cloud-based EVV Advocate app, available on the Android and iOS platforms, is versatile and designed to integrate seamlessly with Vertex Case Manager, enabling your agency to use a single app to record all services.  This cross-module functionality makes EVV Advocate, boasting clean design and exceptional ease of use, truly a game-changer for rehabilitation agencies.

EVV Advocate Can Help Ensure Accurate Reporting

EVV Advocate uses GPS coordinates to accurately pinpoint when an agency caregiver arrives at and leaves a location such as a client’s home to ensure that the service was delivered, that the person received the required care and that Medicaid is accurately billed. With EVV Advocate, your rehab agency will be equipped to follow the law in delivering accurate and complete reporting.

A Day
in the Life With EVV Advocate

Imagine dealing with the complex task of verifying the location where a service was provided. Imagine needing to carry a separate device just to track and verify your location. And then imagine having to record service time and take notes about what happened during the visit. Now imagine the direct service provider selects the next visit on his or her cell phone or tablet in hand, selects the consumer from the list of today’s appointments and then receives turn-by-turn directions to the location.

Upon arrival, the provider clicks to start the service, and the GPS location is automatically recorded. At any time, the DSP can enter or dictate notes pertinent to the visit, and, when the visit is finished, obtain the client’s signature. All the required data is seamlessly passed to Vertex Case Manager and, in turn, to your state’s Medicaid agent.

Unlock Expanded Capabilities for EVV Advocate With More Vertex Solutions

The biggest advantage to using the integrated EVV Advocate is that the app uploads the provider and service information to Vertex Case Management and, ultimately,  Service Billing, creating a powerful cloud-based Vertex ERP system. Integrated EVV does more than comply with the new law; the app saves money and time by preventing unnecessary duplication of data entry.

Whether your rehab agency is growing or a full-scale operation, you can trust that Vertex’s Case Manager and Billing, Time and Attendance, Financials, Payroll and Production Manager software modules can meet your needs by unlocking efficiencies that make your team more productive, saving money and time.
