Date is not valid error when posting payroll with benefits in Navision

If there is not effective date on either the sick or vacation rates on each employees card, you will receive the Date is Not Valid error when attempting to post your payroll journal.

Solution

To avoid this problem, simply verify that each employee set up with Vacation & Sick accruals does have an effective date on their respective Sick and Vacation rate line on their rates table.
